Mrs. Adee was born Edith Eileen Gaines on June 20, 1918 at Kirwin and was a resident most of her young life. She was an elementary teacher in Phillips, Ottawa and Clay counties for 26 years. She was a member of the Bethany Free Methodist Church, Miltonvale.
Survivors include her husband, J. B. of the home; a son, Merlyn of Wells, two daughters, Marilyn E. Benfer of Longford and Jacq'ue King of Las Vegas, Nev.; her mother, Della Gaines of Phillipsburg; a brother, Leo Gaines of Phillipsburg' a sister, Beth Gaines of Agra; an six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at he F. C. Memorial Wesleyan Church, Miltonvale, the Revs. Ralph Heisel and George Dixson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Meron Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Hospice.
