J. E. was born in Tompkinsville, KY. on July 4, 1927, a son of the late Mattie (Anderson) and Alexander Spear.
On August 26, 1944, at Glasgow, KY. he married Nelline (Frost) Spear.
He was a Farmer.
J. E. is survived by
Three daughters, Peggy Cherry, Charlene (Albert) Thompson, both of Tompkinsville, Anita (Larry) Brown, of Campbellsville, KY.;
Six sons, Chris (Tammy) Spear, J. E. (Glaydelle) Spear, both of Tompkinsville,; Joe (Eva) Spear, of Lamb, KY.; Bobby Spear, of Hermitage Springs, TN.; Steve (Marcia) Spear,. Tony (Karen) Spear, both of Lebanon, Tn.; 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren.
J.E. is preceded in death by his parents Mattie (Anderson) and Alexander Spear, His wife Nelline (Frost) Spear, Seven sisters, Vera Hammer, Hazel Frost, Eary Ethel Emmert, Rudy Tinge, Nora Blakely, Vernie Shaw and O. D. Biggerstaff; Two brothers Jim T. Spear and Lawrence Spear; Two Grandchildren, Serri Joe Spear, and Neal Cherry.
Funeral Service Saturday, September 24th, 2:00 P.M. at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home.
