Patricia Ruth Adams, at the age of 81 went to be with her Lord and with her true love on Monday, January 29, 2007, at her home in Kerrville.
She was born on May 31, 1925, in Valley Park, Missouri to George James and Lucille Cudwell James. Pat served in the US Navy as a WAVE in World War II. She married Royce Adams on July 5, 1949, in Valley Park, Missouri. Pat went on to become a wife and mother, so she became a housewife, which was her greatest love in life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucille James; siblings, Evelyn James and Kenneth James; and her husband, Royce Adams, who entered heaven on October 17, 2006.
Patricia is survived by her children, Dale Adams and wife Vicki, Gary Adams and wife Nancy, Susan Gentry, and husband Grady, and Douglas Adams and wife Jennifer; eight grandchildren, Gordon, Carly, Colin, Emily, Shannon, Kyle, Ashley, and Grant; a sister Barbara James; and many other family members and friends who love and will miss her.
Memorial services will be at 4 pm on Friday, February 2, 2007, at Wrights Funeral Parlor with Pastor Weston officiating with full military honors. Interment will be at a later date in Center Point Cemetery.
