Marvene A. Hastings
HASTINGS, Marvene A. Hastings, 84, passed away Friday, November 3, 2006. Mrs. Hastings was a member of Norwood Baptist Church. She worked as a hairdresser most of her life and was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Stroupe in 1970 and Harold Hastings in 1996, along with her son Kyle Gainey in January of this year. Survivors include 1 daughter, Linda (Frank) Coleman; 1 Step-son, Harold Hastings, Jr.; 4 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 6, in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., with John Michael Bazzell and Pastor A. Darryl Murray, officiating.
