DEATH TAKES MR. STEINEBACH
DuWAYNE STEINEBACH, 49, of Traverse City R. 5 died unexpectedly at his home early Monday evening.
Mr. Steinebach was born May 17, 1912, in Detroit, and as a small boy moved to the Hannah area, where he had since resided.
He was employed by the Burns & Wynkoop Co.'s AAA wrecker service for 12 years, then was affiliated with Rennie Oil Co. when the wrecker service was acquired by that firm.
He was a life member of Hannah St. Mary's church and was an ardent sportsmen.
Surviving are three sons, JOHN of Traverse City R. 5 and DONALD and ROBERT of Traverse City; four daughters, MRS. JOHN OLSZEWSKI of Acme, MRS. FREDERICK QUANTE of Pipestone, Minn., and MRS. LEONARD STACHNIK and MISS LEONA STEINEBACK, both of Traverse City; eight grandchildren; one sister, MRS. FRANCIS KREISER of Buckley; one half-brother, CLARENCE YEOMANS of Traverse City; and several nieces and nephews.
A requiem high mass will be sung at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at Hannah St. Mary's church, Rev. Fr. Francis Karl celebrant, with burial in the family lot in the church cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Martinson funeral home in Traverse City, where the body reposes.
