Alvina Achterhof, 75, of Holland, died Frieday, January 17, 1992, at Holland Hospital.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Allen.

She was a longtime member of Montello Park Christian Reformed Church, its Ladies Aid and the Mary Guild.

She is survived by her husband, Elton and children, Bob and Bonnie Achterhof, Jim and Carol Achterhof, Al and Judy Achterhof, Paul and Marge Achterhof, John and Barb Achterhof, Bill and Gail Achterhof, all of Holland, Paul and Lois Hendricksen of Jenison, Rober and Ruth Smit of Wyoming and Randy and Myra Reimink of Hamilton; 28 grand children; sisters Mrs. Hess (Charlotte) Houtman of Volga, South Dakota, Mrs. Bert (Geneva) Clapp of Lynden, Washington, Mrs. Bill (Mabel) Czerkies of Holland, Mrs. Bill (Agnes) Aman of Wyoming, Mrs. Harry (Edna) Houtman of Holland, and Mrs. Joe (Wilma) Stephan of Wyoming; sisters-in-law Mrs. Bert (Alice) Vandenberg of Hudsonville, Mrs. Herbert (Nellie) Vandenberg of Volga, South Dakota and Mrs. Joe (Annetta) Romyn of Holland.

Services are 1 p.m. January 20, at the Montello Park Christian Reformed Church with the Revs. James Busscher and Harlan Roelofs officiating.

Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visiting hours are today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. at Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Cahpel, 315 E. 16th Street.

Memorials may be given to the Holland Christian Schools.
