Carolyn G. (White) Baca, 75, of Millville passed away Monday April 8, 2013 at home. She was the wife of Joseph E. Baca, Jr.
A resident of Millville for 46 years, Mrs. Baca had been employed at Polytop Corp. in N. Smithfield, RI for several years. She had previously worked at the former Bernat's Woolen Mill in Uxbridge and Tupperware.
She was born on April 25, 1937 in Uxbridge, the daughter of the late Howard and Hazel (Rein) White and was a graduate of Uxbridge High School in 1955.
Carolyn loved gardening and took great pride in tending to her flower beds. She also enjoyed traveling and was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Woonsocket, RI.
In addition to her loving husband Joseph of 23 years, she is survived by two sons Scott L. Goulet of Millville and Gary E. and his wife Dina Goulet of Webster; three sisters Shirley Small of Northbridge, Beverly Liberty of Uxbridge, and Joyce Richardson of Millville; a step-son Joseph E. Baca III and his wife Tammy of Uxbridge; a step-daughter Karen Creighton of Panama City, FL; 4 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Howard C. White, Jr. and Carleton White.
Funeral services will be Friday April 12, 2013 at 10 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge, MA. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge.
Visiting hours will be Thursday April 11, 2013 from 4 – 8 PM in the funeral home.
