Body Held in Ice. Remains of Isaac Bradley of Omro Are Found at Clark’s Point
Winneconne Wisconsin., March 25.- The remains of Isaac Bradley, an aged farmer of Omro, who drowned last fall while hunting on Lake Poygan, were found early this morning by Edward Clark, at Clark’s point, near this place. The body was frozen in the ice, which had been pushed into Clark’s bay from the lake by the recent strong winds. Although the body was badly bloated, the identification was established with certainty by the son who lives in Winneconne, the clothing being that worn by Bradley when he went out on that fatal trip and was overtaken by a storm last fall. Ever since the ice gave way search has carried on in the belief that the body would be found. The remains were brought in this village and then removed to Omro.

The body of Isaac Bradley who drowned in Lake Winneconne during a severe wind and rain storm on Nov. 11, was found by Mr. Ed Clark near Clark’s point, a few miles north of Winneconne on Friday. His son Charles Bradley who lives in Winneconne was notified at once. A gasoline launch was procured and the body was placed in a small row boat which was towed to the village by the launch where it arrived at a little before noon on Friday. Here the undertaker Charlesworth took charge of the body and prepared it for burial. The funeral was held from the North Rushford church on Sunday afternoon March 27, at 2 o’clock. Rev. Woodward preached the funeral sermon. The body was buried in the Bradley (Rushford) cemetery.
