Belva was a sawmill owner and operator along with her brother Homer and Grandfather Godfrey Butcher in both Clinton and Newport, Indiana.

She later joined the Hagenbach-Wallace Circus and became a high-wire aerialist and later a model in Chicago, Illinois.

Later in life, she was a Supervisor for the American Medical Association in Chicago, Illinois.

She believed in the spirit world and had a very real-life experience with a flying saucer in Chicago.

She was very active in and a Board Member of Showfolks of America in Chicago and was the Recording Secretary for many years,

She was wonderful and kind.

She passed away from cancer.

She was loved dearly by her Schrader family!
