"Suddenly overcome while driving an automobile last Sunday afternoon, Angelo Daras, 34 whose home was on Newton street, died Monday evening in the Youngstown hospital where he was taken in an unconscious condition. He did not regain consciousness and death was likely due to a blood clot on the brain. He came to Canfield from Greece, where he was born Sept. 4, 1893, with several companions in 1914, and except for a time in service in the world war had since resided here. He was married March 24, 1918, to Mary Swagger of Canfield who survives with a son and a daughter. He also leaves his mother and four brothers and sisters in his native land. For quite a number of years he was a railroad section hand, but recently had been in the employ of the Altimo Culture Co. He was a member of the M. E. Church. Funeral services at the home Wednesday afternoon were conducted by Rev. H. C. Wilson and at the grave in the village cemetery was given full military honors by American Legion Post No. 177, of which he was a member."
