Keziah told her children how she remembered as a child hearing the roar of musters and cannons during the Revolutionary War. She remembered how afraid they were of the Indians, for they had killed so many people and were so cruel. The Vandines were nieghbors of the Aglers before their marriage. They lived in the Muncy Hills in Pennsylvania. The Muncy Hills were abounded with wild boars, deer, bears, wolves, and panthers.
