James T. Atkins
Death came as a gentle relief after 14 years of suffering when yesterday it claimed James T. Atkins of 263 East Sixth Street. In the death of Mr. Atkins Riverside loses another of its pioneer residents. Mr. Atkins and his wife came to Riverside nearly 30 years ago, and in the time he has lived here has helped much in the upbuilding of the city.

For the past 14 years he has been denied an active life, and his death yesterday brought respite from patient suffering. He leaves a widow, three sons, and a daughter.

Mr. Atkins was a loyal member of the First Christian church and funeral services will be held from the church, probably Friday afternoon. Definite arrangements will be announced later.
