Henrietta Braca Gibson died Jan. 1, 2009. She was born to Madalena and Louis Braca, one of seven girls and two boys, in her home in Sea Isle City,NJ and resided there until her death. She delighted in the seashore air and could be seen walking every morning along the shore and sitting outside the Braca Cafe. She attended Sea Isle City public school, Ocean City High School, and graduated with a degree in home economics from Immaculata College. She taught for a brief time, and married Arthur Gibson in June 1941.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur K Gibson.

Survivors include her sister, a daughter, a son, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

A gathering for family and friends was held Jan. 6 at St. Joseph's Church, Sea Isle City. A celebration of her life and mass were held Jan. 7, also at St. Joseph's Church. A Christian burial followed at St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Goshen, NJ.
