While Paster of St. Januarius Church (1964-1971) in Naples, New York, he began raising funds to construct a new church which was completed in 1966.
He was a Captain in the United States Army/Air Force Chaplain's Corps during World War II.
Following his death, a Mass of the High Priest was celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. On the following day his Funeral Mass was held at the same Church.
