Frances T. Caffey, age 86 of Austin, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to our Heavenly Fathers Arms September 23, 2011.
Frances was born on December 12, 1924 to Oscar F. Anderson,Sr. and Tina Anderson. She was baptised and confirmed at Gethsemana Lutheran church, was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and was active at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Austin, Texas.
She was a graduate of Austin High School she met and married Harrol Caffey while working at Selective Service. this union was blessed with a son and daughter.
She was a homemaker and later went to work for Austin National Bank now known as Bank of Austin in the accounting Department. She worked until her retirement. She loved church functions and activities including WELCA, church bazars and the quilting group. she was an inspiration to family, relatives and friends.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Oscar F. Anderson,Jr. and James L Anderson.
She is survived by her son, Robert Caffey of Fredericksburg, Tx.; daughter, Sharon Williams of PLano, Tx.; sister, Laverne Tanner and husband Robert of Liberty Hill, Tx.; grandson, Jonathan Anderson and wife Tiffani of Dallas, Tx.; granddaughter, Tina Alba and husband Joseph of Pooler, Ga.; Sarah Caffey of College Station, Tx.; and Rebekah Caffey of San Antonio, Tx,; great- grandchildren Achilles and Joseph Alba of Pooler, Ga.; niece Judy Hanson of Mineola, Tx.; great-nephew, Paul Morris; and great-nieces, Stephanie Morris and Sharlee Hanson.
Visitation and Funeral Service were at Weed- Corley-Fish Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Krebs officiating. Interment at Austin Memorial Park.
