Mrs. Patterson Dies Sunday P.M.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Buffington chapel for Mrs. Sam (Mary) Patterson, who died at 8:45 p.m. Sunday at the Cartwhell Lodge.
The Rev.Clyde Poldrack will officiate at the services with burial to follow in Gonzales Memorial Park.
Mrs. Patterson was born in Caldwell county on October 5, 1898, the daughter of William D. and Laura Roycroft Evans, natives respectively of Alabama and Mississippi.
She was married to Sam Patterson on July 3, 1919. He preceded her in death several years ago. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Survivors are two sons, W.C. Patterson of Dallas; Reese Patterson of West Columbia; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Sam Sanders of Magnolia, Ark.; Mrs. Mamie Dyson of Luling; Mrs. Carrie Sawyers and Mrs. Lola Blundell. Both of San Antonio.
