She was born in Olean, NY on October 7, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Ethel (Lowe) Pilon.
Mrs. Owens came to Niagara Falls, NY, in 1948, and had been employed as a waitress, at the former Niagara Diner and Central Bowling Lanes, for several years. She later was employed at the Baker Optical as an engraver for many years.
Surviving is a daughter Shirley [ Anthony ] Lucatra of Niagara Falls; a sister, Winifred Yale of Niagara Falls, grandsons Anthony [ companion of Judy Delgrolice ] Lucatra; David [ Sharon ] Lucatra both of Niagara Falls; great grandsons, Michael, Nicholas and Mark Lucatra; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Irene Fitzimmons; James; Walter; Glen and Rodger Pilon.
