FORSYTH, MT. ---- Irene Aasland 75, died Thursday at the Rosebud Community Hospital.
She was born Feb. 27, 1899, in Winona, MN., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hanson.
She came with her parents to homestead north of Ingomar, MT.
She was married to Birger Aasland on July 25, 1917 in Miles City.
They moved to Forsyth in 1918 and had lived here since.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the degree of Honor.
Survivors include the widower, one son Bruce of Forsyth, MT., one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Matson of Oakland, CA., two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Beals Mortuary with the Rev. Norman Austin officiating.
Burial will be in the Forsyth Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.
