GRAFTON - Catherine M. Wright, 92, died Nov. 18, 2007, at Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend.
She was born Dec. 14, 1914, in Grafton, the daughter of Simon and Lucy (Tuttle) Unwin .

Mrs. Wright worked at the Old Tavern for several years and was the nanny for the Richardson family in Putney for many years. She also worked at Mary Meyer Toy Co.

Survivors include two daughters, Amy Phillips of Hinsdale, N.H., and Cynthia Gibbs of Grafton; her siblings, Anna Rogers of Townshend, Shirley Eddy of West Brattleboro, Etta "Bunny" Bombard, Connie Gomes, both of Tomlinson, Conn., Donald Unwin of Rockland, Mass., and Eleanor Lyon of Camden, Maine; five grandsons, three great-granddaughters, a great-grandson and a great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Peabody Wright, whom she married on Oct. 20, 1932; a son, Arthur L. Wright; and her siblings, Helen Cross, Eva Waite, Charlotte Jones, Jane Burnett, Stanley Unwin and Carl Unwin .

The celebration of her life will be at a later date to be announced.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home.
