Young Tularean Dies in San Jose Sunday
The death of Henry Buckner, 27, of Tulare occurred Sunday in San Jose, after an illness.
His body will be brought back to Tulare for burial. Funeral services will be conducted at the Goble Parlors here Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock.
Buckner was born in Norwod, MO., but had lived in Tulare the last 18 years. A graduate of the local schools, had been for many years an employee of Zall poultry firm here until he took other employment recently.
His widow, Katherine, and two children, Charles Ray, 2, and Shirley Faye, 1, survive. He also leaves his parents, Mr, and Mrs. C. M. Buckner; two brothers, Ward and Harry Buckner, and seven sisters, Mrs. Agnes Conway, Mrs. Grace Mallonee, Mrs. Bessie Neal, Mrs. Glessie Neal, Mrs Dorothy Pritchard, Mrs. Alice Thomson and Miss Hazel Buckner. All are of Tulare except Mrs. Conway, who lives in San Frenando and Mrs. Prtitchard of Sunnyvale. A brother, Roscoe Buckner, died here several years ago.
He was the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. George Jones of Santa Clara.
