Ethel F. Hershberger, 86, Greencroft Healthcare, formerly of Wakarusa, died Monday at 11:50 am.

She was born June 8, 1920, in Elkhart County, to Calvin and Lizzie (Culp) Davidhizar.

She married Jency L Hershberger on June 8, 1960. They later divorced and he preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Mennonite Church.

She is survived by five stepdaughters, three stepsons, a brother, 18 stepgrandchildren and 33 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy, and a sister, Ruth.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen.

The funeral will take place Thursday at 10 am at Salem Mennonite Church, with the Revs. Jerry Helmuth, Arthur Hershberger, John Davidhizar and Terrill Yoder officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral.

Burial will take place at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
