He married Lynda Wiedewitsch Aug. 30, 1921 in DeGraff, Minn. They moved to Princeton, shortly thereafter. Burnett worked for a lumber company.
He was survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, as son, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral was held at St Edward's church, on March 4, with burial in church cemetery.
