Mrs. Anna J.A. Avery leaves daughter and son here

Mrs. Anna J.A. Avery, the wife of George A. Avery and mother of G. Howard Avery and Mrs. A.M. York of this city, died at Rochester this morning after a long illness. Mrs. Avery was born in Buffalo seventy-two years ago, but had lived in Syracuse for the greater part of her life. She was a member of May Memorial church. She is survived by her husband and son, two daughters, Mrs. York and Mrs. William C. Gray of Detroit, Mich.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild, and also by two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Lunn and Mrs. Oliver T. Burt, both of Syracuse. Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed.
