In memory of Sister Mary Boswell (who) passed away to eternal rest on Monday June 24, 1890, after a protracted illness of consumption. Sister Mary Boswell, relict of Brother James Boswell, was fifty-one years of age. Thus, one by one of Salem Baptist Church members are rapidly going to the house of the faithful in Christ. Sister Boswell had been a member of the Baptist church during thirty-three years, and was a devoted christian mother, neighbor and friend, blessed by all who knew her. She leaves four (5) children, blessings attend them in their great bereavement, ever walking in the footsteps of Jesus as their dear mother, that they may be reunited where partings are no more. Amen.
