Mildred M. (Santer) Allison, age 91, of Salina, Kansas died Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at her daughter's home in Excelsior Springs, MO. She was born February 21, 1920 in Minneapolis, KS to John and Stella (Six) Santner.


Mildred was a 1938 graduate of Minneapolis High School. She was united in marriage with Richard K. Allison on April 13, 1941 in Minneapolis, KS.


Mildred worked at Putnam's as a seamstress for many years. She was also an avid quilter, gardener, and she loved to do her own canning. Her memberships included the Salina First United Methodist Church and the Hedville Ladies Club.


Mildred was preceded in death by her husband on February 21, 2010.


Survivors include her children, Richard A. Allison, Utah; Darrell L. (Karen) Allison, KS; Dennis D. (Kathy) Allison, KS; Dianne Kirby, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.


Funeral service at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, KS. Burial in Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Salina First United Methodist Church or Hospice Care of Kansas.
