She was born Sept. 20, 1895, at Rexburg, the daughter of Albert and Annis Dickinson Elliott. She spent her youth, until she was 17, at Rexburg. Mrs. Prestwich had lived the balance of her life at Lincoln, with the exception of five months spent at Chinook, Mont.
She was married to Newell Prestwich on June 7, 1916, at the Salt Lake City, Utah, LDS Temple. Afterwards, she was a seamstress for several years for the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company.
Mrs. Prestwich was a member of the LDS Church, and served for 17 years as a primary organist. She also served two years as a "Beehive teacher" in the YWMIA. She also served in the Relief Society.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Ralph Elliott Prestwich of Rexburg; and two granddaughters, Mrs. Racine Southerford of Logan, Utah, and Miss Shanna Prestwich of Rexburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
