Born September 20, 1909 in Bath to Albert and Sarah L. Edlen Groff, she married George M. Woodard December 24, 1931 in Canton, IL. He died December 15, 1978. One step-daughter also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Garry of East Peoria and Gerry of Las Vegas; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Grotz of East Peoria and Mrs. Sharron Bailey of Cuba; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Lippert of Bath and Mrs. Maggie Gilmore of Havana.
She was a member of Havana Central Christian Church.
Services were held Friday at the Hurley Funeral Home with the Rev. William Robison officiating.
Burial was in Bath Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Rockwell Park pavilion fund or to her church.
