Well-Known Nurse Dies Suddenly
A well-known registered nurse since her graduation from the Ottawa General Hospital in 1927, Miss Agnes M. Sanders of 415 MacLaren Street, died unexpectedly at the home of her niece, Mrs. Z. W. Sametz at 128 Camelia avenue Tuesday. She was 60.
A daughter of the late Edwin Lewis Sanders and the former Mildred Tuckerman, Miss Sanders was a lifelong resident of Ottawa. She attended St. Patrick convent before taking her nursing course at the General. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Tabernacle Society and the League of the Sacred Heart. Miss Sanders is survived by an aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth T. Freeman of Glen Ellyn, Illinois and three nieces and nephews.
The body is at McEvoy Brothers funeral home. Requiem high mass will be sung at St. Patrick's Church at eight o'clock Friday morning with interment in Notre Dame cemetery.
