Married Marie Otis Cabell she was the daughter of Derosey C. & Mary Boggs (Otis) Cabell.

Highland Recorder, Monterey, Virginia. March 23, 1905

Mr. George Armstrong of Troop F, 5th Cavalry, Ft. Duchesne. Utah, sent us a dollar and said he wanted to enroll as a subscriber to the Highland Recorder. Mr Lawrence B Raltson, of Mill Creek, W. Va. is another one of Highland's young men who ordered his county paper sent to him. It is gratifying to the Recorder and its readers that the great number of Highlanders, who have left the county, have allowed nothing to separate their love from their native county, and have cherished a desire to keep in close touch with its welfare.

March 1906 Mr. George Armstrong of Fort Duchesne, Utah renewed his subscription for the Highland Recorder.
