The deceased was born April 28, 1906, in the town of Maine to Martin and Augusta Hoernke Sturm. He was married to Ella Hahn September 8, 1928 in the town of Berlin. He was a foreman at Prehn Granite Co, Inc. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church, town of Maine.
Surviving are his wife; his father, Martin Sturm, town of Maine; one daughter Mrs. Lavern Brandt, Rothschild; a nephew, Charles Rogers, Rhinelander, who the family reared since he was 12 years old; Three sisters, Mrs. Eldor (Alvira) Klebenow, town of Corning, Mrs. Elgart (Luella) Baumann, Wausau, and Mrs. Walter (Alberta) Crowley, Oak Creek, Wis; and one grandchild, Lynn Marie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and one brother in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday in the Taylor funeral home, and at 2 pm in Zion Lutheran Church, town of Maine with the Rev Walter Piehler officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove cemetery, town of Maine.
The family will receive friends at the Taylor funeral home from Sunday morning until the hour of services on Monday.
