Surviving are his wife, Janice of levelland, a son David Tackett of Cleveland, TX; a daughter, Tammy Gonzalez of Levelland; his mother, Nora Jackson of Levelland; three brothers, James Cross of Cordova, TN, Johnny Tackett of Levelland, and Luther "Skeeter" Sutton of Tatum, N.M., a sister, LaRaina Roberts of Levelland; four grand children and one great-grandson.
