Howard Otto Hoeft was born May 18, 1924 on the family farm in Bogus Brook Township, northeast of Princeton, the son of Otto Rudolph and Thresa (Henschel) Hoeft. He lived the first many years of his life on the family farm near Princeton where he worked. He moved near Thief River Falls over 25 years ago. He lived on the Stanley Hruby farm for five years.
Howard is survived by brothers Chester and Ralph (Irene) Hoeft, both of Princeton. He was preceded in death by brothers Daniel and Franklin.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 17 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls. Burial was in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton.
