Mr Barker was born in Jefferson County March 29, 1873, and married Lillian Tennant at Ashland Nov, 18, 1889. They lived in Ashland for one year then moved to Coloma. There they reared four children. His wife died in 1915. He married Mrs. Ida Kementz Dec, 1917.
