Richard S. Amador was born December 21, 1935 in Stockton, California to Epigmenio and Andrea Amador. He was baptized at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Stockton and died September 19, 2011 at his home in Monterey Park, California.
Public policy was one of Richard's passions. He served as an Alhambra School Board Member for twelve years as well as President & CEO of CHARO for thirty-seven years.
Richard is survived by his wife, Theresa, his daughter, Cynthia and her husband, James Diaz, and grandsons, Andrew and Jake Flores, son, Richard and his wife Lisa and granddaughters Lisa Ana and Lauren, and his brother Daniel Amador.
Funeral services will be at Rose Hills.
