BILLY RAY BRUNTY, 52, of Milton, was born Sept. 30, 1958, and passed away on Sept. 29, 2011, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. He was preceded in death by his father, Golden "Jack" Brunty.
He was an employee of Columbia Gas. He graduated from Guyan Valley High School.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Browning Brunty; mother, Stella Swiney Brunty of Branchland;
son, Brett and Sarah Brunty of Milton;
one grandchild, Griffin;
three brothers, Eddie, Barry and Jackie, all of Branchland.
Service at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, W.Va., with Jonah Adkins officiating. Burial in Watson Cemetery, Branchland.
