LAWRENCEBURG - Wilma Ann Cahill Davenport, 85, widow of Gilbert G. Davenport, died Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort. She was born in Anderson County to the late William C. and Ruby Young Cahill. She was a former employee of Williams Lumber Company for 17 years, owned and operated Davenport Supply Center for 11 years; a member of Sand Spring Baptist Church and T.E.L. Sunday School Class; and a 1941 graduate of Kavanaugh High School. She is survived by several cousins including Betty Catlett Barjuca, Lawrenceburg; adopted family, Fran and Alan Wilkins, Versailles, Donna and Warren McKnight, Lawrenceburg, Alaina and Joseph Graves, Versailles, and Bobbie and David Howard, Frankfort; special friends, Sue Perry, Woody Gash, of Lawrenceburg, and Pocahontus Walker, Harrodsburg. Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert S. Case. Funeral services 11am Fri, May 1, 2009 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thu. Memorial contributions may be made to Sand Spring Baptist Church Building Fund, 1616 Harrodsburg Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.

Wilma married Gilbert G. Davenport after the death of her first husband Robert Sale Case. She is buried next to Robert at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
