Sister M. Dorothy Altweck, whose 50-year teaching career included positions at three Racine Catholic schools, died Friday in St. Mary's Hospital. She was 85.
Born in Germany, Sister Dorothy came to Racine 63 years ago. She taught at Sacred Heart, St. Joseph's, and St. Patrick's schools as well as schools at Sturtevant and nine other Wisconsin and two in Michigan.
A nephew and a sister-in-law, both living in Germany, survive.
Services will be held Monday morning in the Convent of St. Catherine. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Oaks, Pewaukee, Wis.
