Age 70. Passed away December 17 in Racine. Sister Mary Cunigunda was born in Europe on November 14, 1881 and came to Racine from Europe 50 years ago. Until December, 1950, she had been a teacher for 40 years. She was a member of Sisters of Saint Dominic, Racine.
Surviving are one brother in Europe; two sisters, Sister Mary Dorothy, Dominican Sister, Milwaukee and Sister Mary Theoula, Sister of Loretto in Europe. Mass will be read December 20, 8 a.m. in the Convent Chapel, Rev. John J. Eulberg, O.P. officiating. Private interment will be in Our Lady of the Oaks Cemetery, Pewaukee, Wis. Friends may call at the Concent Chapel Wednesday afternoon and evening. Beffel & Acklam Funeral Home. 729 Grand Avenue, directors.

Her birth name was Elizabeth. She entered the Racine Dominican community from the Sacred Heart School in Templeton, Iowa, where the Racine Dominican Sisters taught from 1908-1916. She was elected to serve as vicaress of the Racine Dominican community on August 6, 1934.
