He was father to Alex, Jimmie, Will, Al (Preach) and Ida Mae.

E. Frank Davis, 81, of 810 Circle Dr., well-known retired Fisher County farmer, died here Tuesday night at Simmons Memorial Hospital at 7:45 o'clock from a six-weeks illness.

He had lived here since 1942 and had lived north of here from 1930-1942. He was born in Jackson, MS on Jan. 1, 1879.

Survivors include his wife and three sons---Will A. Davis and A.R. Davis of Sweetwater, A.L. Davis of Ventura, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Ida Mae Toler of Mesquite, Texas; one brother, Russ Davis of Barstow, CA. One son, Jim, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Fourth and Elm Street Church of Christ. Stanley Shipp will officiate. Burial will be in the Sweetwater Cemetery, with Patterson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for E. Frank Davis, 81, well-known retired Fisher County farmer who died here Tuesday night were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Fourth and Elm Street Church of Christ.

The minister officiating was Stanley Shipp. Burial was in Sweetwater Cemetery with Patterson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

He had made his home here since 1942.

Survivors include his wife and three sons---Will A. Davis and A.R. Davis of Sweetwater, A.L. Davis of Ventura, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Ida Mae Toler of Mesquite; one brother, Russ Davis, of Barstow, Calif.

Pallbearers were Bill Harvey, D.O. Bonner, Buck Davis, Vernon Shaw, Austin Buck and C.C. Stroble.
