Service: Enos Hudson enlisted at Oakham, Mass. Mar. 14, 1777 as a private in Capt. John Reed's and Capt. Thorp's companies, Col. John Brooks' regiment (7th.) Was at the capture of Burgoyne and in the battles of Cherry Valley, Newtown, and King's Bridge; was at the surrender of Cornwallis. Discharged in June 1783.

Remarks: Enos Hudson and his wife are buried in the village cemetery at Evans Mills, Jefferson. Co., N.Y. His pension was allowed March 19, 1819. In 1820 his family consisted of his wife, name not given, and two grandchildren, aged 8 and 5 years, names not given. In 1818 he was living in Eaton, Madison Co., N. Y. Enos Hudson: only one by that name on Pension Roll.
