Larry Allen Guy, of Goose Creek, husband of Elizabeth Ann Giddens Guy, entered into eternal rest on the morning of October 2, 2011.
Born in Tullahoma, TN on October 9, 1945m he was the son of the late Allen L. Guy and Christine Overcast Guy.
Larry was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Goose Creek, SC. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1965 and served a tour in Vietnam, then joined the U.S. Air Force in 1971 retiring in 1988. He also worked at M.U.S.C. in outpatient accounting with 20 years service.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Larry will missed by many and loved by all. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Giddens Guy of Goose Creek, SC; daughters Melissa Kaye Gajeton and her fiance; Gabriel Gomez of North Charleston, Cynthia Diane Guy of Goose Creek: sons; David Allen Guy and Steven Scott Guy, both of Goose Creek; brothers Ronald Gene Guy and wife Carol of Huber Heights, OH and Rev. Donnie James Guy and wife Ivy of Gulfport, MS; sister Jeannie Faye Hope of Theodore, AL, and 9 grandchildren; Kayla, Kimberly, Lauren, Enrique, Isabella, Jonathan, Timothy, Arianna and Eva.
Larry is predeceased by his brothers Lester Bradford "Buddy" Guy and Jerry Edward Guy.
