Grave recorded March 18, 1956 by the Chief Tusquahoma Chapter D.A.R. for the series "Louisiana Tombstone Transcriptions", Volume I, Page 110.

Online sources state Nancy was the daughter of William Wallace Gregory and Nancy Alice Smalling.

Nancy married Alonzo "Lonn" Head in Caldwell Parish. They had no children.

Mrs. Nancy Head married William D. Hamilton June 9, 1896 in Ouachita Parish. They were the parents of David E., Willima D., Eula, Euna and Allie May Hamilton.

The 1900 Ouachita Parish census shows W.D. and M.C. "Hamelton", married three years, with children David E. and Wm. D. She states she was born in Louisiana September, 1862 and parents in Alabama. She was the mother of two children.
