Wayne E. Amberg, 57, of Nampa Route 1, died Friday at a Nampa hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born April 20, 1908, at Danvers, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. Manuel J. Amberg, and was reared there. He came to Nampa in 1929 where he married Esther Strubhar, Dec. 24, 1930. They had resided in Nampa since that time, where Mr. Amberg farmed and did janitorial work. Mr. Amberg was a member of the North Danvers Mennonite Church.
Among his survivors are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Katherine Amberg, Carlock, Ill.; two brothers, Clarence Amberg, Danvers, Ill., and Merle Amberg, Normal, Ill., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
