Earnest Carlton "Tim" Board, 86, of Bowling Green died at 9:44 p.m. March 25, 2005, at Greenview Regional Hospital. He was a retired dairy farmer, a member of Old Union Missionary Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. He worked on the Hoover Dam as a high scaler. He was the son of the late Dave Board and Clara McCalister Board. Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Broadway Chapel, with entombment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty Jewell Goad Board of Bowling Green; four daughters, Wanda Jones and her husband, Bobby, Nancy Pardue and her husband, Donnie, all of Bowling Green, Linda White and her husband, Marshall, of Alvaton, and Seroba Hardcastle and her husband, Larry, of Allen Springs; four sons, Bobby Board and his wife, Barbara, Jim Carlton Board and his wife, Kathy, Rex Board and his wife, Denise, all of Bowling Green, and Billy Board and his wife, Marilyn, of Alvaton; one sister, Anna Bell Perry of Franklin; 13 grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
