NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y.-Marie Ann Debrecht, 88, died Wednesday, July 4, 1990, at Holy Family Home in Williamsville, N.Y.
She was born Jan. 10, 1902, to Bernard and Bertha (Linkenheld) Frett. She was a resident of Chicago prior to 1960 and lived in Johnsburg from 1960 to 1970. In 1971, she moved to New York with her daughter.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the National Catholic Society of Foresters St. Agatha’s Court 777.
Mrs. Debrecht is survived by her daughter, Joan (Peter) Higgins of Pendleton, N.Y.; her son, Richard (Mary) Debrecht of Johnsburg; 11 grandchildren; and three* great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Emil, in September of 1970; a son, Gene, in 1985; and a brother, Arthur Frett, in May** of 1990.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the funeral Mass at noon at St. John the Baptist Church, with the Rev. John C. Holdren officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials made to the church or masses would be appreciated. Arrangements were made by the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home.
