DIED IN IOWA
Word has been received here that Austin Hendrickson, 84 years old, formerly of Noble township, Shelby County, died at Gladwin, Iowa, where he has been residing for a number of years. The message of his death was received from George M. Hendrickson, a son. Funeral services were held today and burial was in the Bethel Cemetery at Gladwin. Mr. Hendrickson is well known to the older residents of the community, who will sincerely mourn his death. He was the son of Thomas and Martha (Coleman) Hendrickson and was born April 20, 1841 in Shelby county. Mr. Hendrickson was married February 18, 1863 to Mary E. Tindall. He followed farming for many years before leaving this section to go to Iowa where he had since resided. Mr. and Mrs. Hendrickson were the parents of 12 children. He was a brother of the late George Hendrickson, who died several years ago at the home place in Noble township. Mrs. James Barnett, of Elwood, is a sister.
