Gertrude Moore's first name was Addie, but she mostly went by Trudie in census and other records. . She married John Morgan Wilson in Montgomery County, Georgia in 1907. For some reason, her name on the marriage certificate is given as "Freddie" rather than Trudie. Perhaps the clerk misheard her name. Their children were Angus Cleaven Wilson, Nobie Lee Wilson Thompson, Ruby Elizabeth Wilson and Jake W. Wilson. Gertrude was my step=grandfather's first wife.

John Morgan Wilson was buried in Boise, Idaho. My maternal grandmother, Addie Belle Clark Wilson, (his second wife) is buried beside him. They had no children together. Interestingly, both of John's wives had the first name Addie, and both were more frequently called by their middle names.

The oldest child of John and Addie Gertrude Moore Wilson, Angus Cleaven Wilson, has his first name spelled Agnus on his tombstone. I have been unable to find burial places of any of the other three children: Nobie Lee Wilson Thompson (1910-1980), is known to have died in Florida; Ruby Elizabeth Wilson (1913- 1981) , never married, known to have died in Florida; and Jake W. Wilson (1917-?) presumed to have died at some time prior to the death of his brother Angus in 1983, as he is not mentioned in his brother's obituary. Place of death not known. It is unclear whether Jack ever married.
