Frentzel, Marian Louise Sawyer, 67, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011.
Beloved Mother of Kim (John) Mullen, Kane (Tina) Frentzel and Karrie (Steve) Clow; Loving Grandmother of Kayla, Kane, James, Jared, Edan, Evan and Kaden; Dear Sister of Alan (Carolyn) Sawyer; Loving friend of Marie Wolfe; Aunt, Cousin, Mentor and Friend to many.
Marian was a graduate of Beaumont High School class of 1962, attended Washington University where she studied Dress and Design from 1962 to 1966, she also attended University of Missouri at St. Louis from 1989 to 1992. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta - Phi Chapter at Washington University and Alumni of the UMSL Chapter, and belonged to the Gamma Phi Book Club, Vice President of Second Wind of St. Louis, National Second Wind Association member, Midwest Transplant Service on-line counselor and a Mentor at Barnes Jewish Hospital assisting those who were lung transplant recipients since 2006. Marian always wanted to express her gratitude toward the donor's family from Lincoln, NE who gave her a second chance on life.
Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. Interment Valhalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Second Wind Lung Association of St. Louis. Visitation Monday, 4 - 8 pm. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
