Gertrude met & then married William Grove Skelly on Oct 27 1904 In Marion Indiana.
They had 2 daughters Carolyn Mary Skelly & Joanna Jane Skelly.
They moved following work for William, then after him striking it rich in Oklahoma, they settled in Tulsa.
Her husband founded the Skelly Oil Company, she was a philanthropist, & with him they gave greatly to Tulsa.
After William's death she donated the Skelly Mansion to Tulsa University.
She is entombed with William at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa Oklahoma.
