Obit-Punxsutawney Spirit MICHAEL AIRGOD DIES OF ASTHMA, AGED 63 YEARS Michael Airgod, of Bells Mills, died at 3 O'clock Thursday afternoon in the Punxsutawney Hospital of asthma at the age of 63 years. He had been in poor health for a long time and seriously ill for the past two months. The deceased was born near Juneau, a son of John and Sara Airgod and was reared to young manhood on a farm there. He was united in marriage to Miss Sara Uber, of near Juneau, 48 years ago and the young couple went to housekeeping on a farm in Juneau where they resided until six tears ago when they moved to the Brown farm at Bells Mills. Mr. Airgod was well known throughout this section and held in high esteem for his splendid manly qualities. He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: Merle Airgod, of Big Run; Isaac and Roy, od Pitcairn; Nathaniel, at home; Mrs. Harry Waite, of Pitcairn and Mrs. John Lewis, of Cloe. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Samuel Airgod, of Marion Center; Frank and Clyde, of Juneau; Clark, of Ernest; George, of Marchand; Webb, of Pitcairn; Mrs. Robert Shields and Mrs. Oscar Stiver, of Juneau, and Mrs. Isaac Winters, Of Indiana.Funeral services will be held at the late home of the deceased beginning at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with interment in the Marchand Cemetery.
